This drive through southern ⁠Illinois takes you from the quiet Village of ⁠Pulaski to the riverfront in ⁠Cairo via Old U.S. 51 and offers a journey through historic river towns and significant Civil War-era sites.

Participants can join Cruise at any Showcase Location. Where these small communities serve as the gateway to the southernmost tip of Illinois.

Journey Highlights

• ⁠Pulaski and ⁠Mounds: Start the Cruise at our 1st Showcase location where we take over Beautiful Downtown Village of ⁠Pulaski before heading south to ⁠our 2nd Showcase location in Mounds at Gwen Chambliss Park.

• ⁠Cairo: This historic river town is located at the dramatic confluence of the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers and is our 3rd Showcase location at Heritage Park at the corner of 8th Street and Halliday Ave. Next, we will cruise through Mound City, established in 1864, it is one of the nation's oldest national cemeteries and contains the graves of thousands of Civil War soldiers.
